I remember seeing him in Houston at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion back in say 2000 or 2001...playing in front of literally a scattered crowd of 250 people on the side stage...and I said to myself...DAMN he can play that guitar! That statement still holds true! Best country singer in the biz today if you ask me! I love my rock music...from Alice in Chains to Sick Puppies...but Keith always drags me back to my roots!

I think that Keith has always put more emotion and power into his playing. Every one of his songs that I've listened to has a certain feel to it that everyone can relate too. This song brings out more emotion than most. I agree that Brad is a great guitar player but hes too country

i have to agree paddlinjoe34.. two different styles.. as much as brad is losing his country taste its just more of a fast pace.. keith uses longer notes with a lot of bends to the strings while brad just goes through the penatonic scale

The 4th octave to the half step followed by the harmonic is like music to my soul. Then he hits the major 5th with the b# major. I did that one time myself by clicking my teeth to produce the natural harmonic, but doubt that I will ever produce the same thing again. I took a music theory class about 5 years ago and thought it would be fun to bullshit everyone reading this.
Anyways, great song.

I think though that with Paisley all you ever hear is a bit of him on acoustic and his playing on highly customized Telecasters. With KU you hear he has mastered various acoustics, the Tele, Strats, various Les Pauls and other Gibsons, and other guitars and banjos, not to mention the piano. Does this really matter? Maybe not, but KU just seems to show his abilities on a broader range of instruments and I wish Paisley would do that.

I suggest looking up KU's May 12th cover of the Stone's Tumbling DIce from the Jimmy Fallon show. It is rockin and will show that Keith is far more than a country artist. I mean he flat out jams on that song.
