I liked this review ... ( 2 years ago by tonireed1)
I liked this review. However I am getting tired of watching stories about people lost in the rat-race and unable to step out of our culture's prevalent thought paradigm. Life can be poetry. Unfortunately most art now--plays, gallery and museum pieces etc. are mainly thought driven and not created from within, so we are left with crazed emotional nightmares. And when someone does create from their soul very few can feel it or they dismiss it as fantasy.

I mostly loved the ... ( 2 years ago by kdmayfield)
I mostly loved the movie, but thought it had a huge gap of "suspension of disbelief" at the core when Tom Wilkinson "suddenly" realizes that his law firm has been defending the bad guys in the lawsuit. Did I miss something?
I think Wilkinson ... ( 2 years ago by xenussister)
I think Wilkinson always knew that his firm was defending the bad guys, just like Pollack's character (and unlike Clayton, who was extremely smart but clueless) but he was a driven, ambitious, ruthless man who didn't care. It was finding the scientific study, then getting to know and care about "Anna" that caused him to realize that real people, good people, had been and were being hurt by UNorth's chemicals. That's when he snapped.
I love the Geezers (and Michael Clayton)!

Good movie. But like you guys said, go against the flow and criticize big corporations isn't always the best way to "hit the box office".
The scariest thing is, a bomb in the car can happen if you try to put McDonald's down for bad food./David

Doesn't anyone get that Marty (Michael's boss) and Karen (the Unorth lead attorney) are in cahoots, ultimately, to kill Clooney? Is it really all that hard to see?

I've watched it three times now and I still dont get any clues or even subtle hints that Marty is somehow connected to U/North and Karen. The only clue may have been that Marty had Authors brief bag when the others could not locate it in the scene in Milwakee. But, if it's meant to be a clue, it's so subtle that its leaves most unaware that there is any connection between Marty(Pollack) and U/North. I just don't see it that way.

I didn't know Lorenzo wrote "Three Days of the Condor". I just thought you were just YouTubers who seemed to know a lot about movies!
I LOVED "Michael Clayton," and I especially liked Tom Wilkinson's performance. It was not marketed well at all. Clooney and Tilda Swinton were great as well.
Dudes, I'm a lawyer ... ( 2 months ago by Tom5578)
Dudes, I'm a lawyer and you old geezers are so right. I will get it out again this weekend. I saw GC grab for red carpet this Oscars and he was asked the embarrassing question, and he predicted Jeff would win. The man has class, above money. And that's what I like. 3 Days .... was kind of good too ....! Damn good!
