Hey Aaron. I'm new to playing guitar but I've been following a lot of your videos and picking it up fairly quickly. I keep getting messed up when I try to sing, do you have any tips for how to get your hands and mouth to work all independently of one another?

Great! I keep trying to just talk or say my ABCs as I do it right now... anything to sort of get my lips going as I'm playing.

At the end of each verse on the D chord, you can add your pinky to the high E string in the third fret. It sounds nice.
I've only been playing for a month, but I believe it's a Dsus4. It's the D chord adding a G note, so I guess thats a 4th right?
It's nice that you "dumb down" songs for beginners. My father has been teaching me all of the theory, but at times, I just want to figure out songs the "easy way". Thanks man!!!

Cool...The theory is all very overwhelming at first, but it's really helping me understand things much more in depth. It especially helps when writing songs or figuring out songs you hear on the radio.
Another interesting tidbit is: The reason its called a Suspension is because you're taking away the 3rd, which tells you if a chord is major or minor. So now you're floating with no way to tell if it's major or minor, therefore its a suspension. Thanks again. Take it easy. ---Matt
